Spells in Decay of Logos are categorized as Magicae that can be acquired in the game. Spells are magical abilities that provide both offensive and defensive effects such as conjuring elemental attacks to damage enemies and bosses and also spells that can be applied to Ada that provide buffs and effects that can help her in certain situations, especially in battle. You'll find a list of all the Magicae that can be obtained in the game such as from NPCs and as you progress through the story.
- In Decay of Logos, using spells does not use Mana. But instead, it consumes Ada's health whenever a magicae is used. Some spells are defensive spells called Shield Magicae which also depletes Ada's health when it is activated.
- Ada can only equip one spell at a time. You can check the list of spells that you've acquired by opening the inventory menu and cycling through "Magicae".
