Lumen is a Magicae Spell in Decay of Logos. Lumen is used for lighting dark areas and for blinding enemies. Spells are categorized as "Magicae" that provide both offensive and defensive effects that help Ada in battle. These are obtained as you progress through the game, which is given by various NPCs or by finding it from secret areas and/or various locations.
A Magicae twine which draws vitality from the user and channels it into the world, draining their health in the process. Once cast, it summons a strong source of light that brightens dark areas and blinds the enemy. Under King Telos' rule, twines were strictly forbidden.
Lumen Use and Effect
- Used as an alternative for the torch which lights up dark areas.
- Can be used in battle to blind enemies who are caught within its range.
- You can view your spells by opening the inventory menu and cycling through the "Magicae" section.

Lumen Notes & Tips
- Using Magicae depletes Ada's health.
- Some defensive spells called a Shield Magicae consumes both health and stamina of Ada.
